BPC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making art accessible to everyone, to create a platform for local and emerging creatives, and to foster a genuine and resilient community. Our 3 pillars are creativity, community, and connection. Our main programs are free events and workshops where our audience can engage with art. Position Summary:
BPC is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing Intern to help amplify our digital presence, create content and promote our mission. This role is part-time, unpaid, and offers community service hours. It’s a highly flexible role ideal for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, digital strategy, and brand communication.
This position will work closely with the founder & Director and receive regular feedback and guidance through check-ins, clearly-stated deliverables and timelines, and an open line of communication.
Expected commitment is of approximately 5-8 hours per week (flexible and adjustable based on availability). This is a hybrid role: most work is remote, with occasional in-person attendance required at events for content capture. Events happen 1-2 times per month. The start date of this position is February 10th 2026, and end date is May 8th 2026.

Learning Outcomes & Educational Focus:
This internship is designed as a learning experience. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to nonprofit marketing strategy, content creation workflows, brand storytelling, and community-based arts programming, with feedback throughout the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and schedule social media content across platforms (Instagram & TikTok)
Assist with campaign planning and content calendars
Track engagement metrics and recommend improvements
Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across projects
Attend events to gather content
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok
Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
Strong visual storytelling skills
Basic understanding of social media analytics and trends
Self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented
Interest in nonprofit work and/or art
Bonus Opportunities:
